Fluorite ore

Process introduction: The fluorite ore beneficiation methods are gravity separation and flotation. The fluorite ore beneficiation equipment is also divided into gravity separation equipment and flotation equipment. The gravity separation equipment refers to the jig. Only the jig can handle coarse-grained fluorspar lump ore. , Fluorite flotation equipment is similar to other mineral flotation equipment, including crushers, ball mills, flotation machines, etc.
Application areas: The fluorite ore flotation process can be applied to difficult-to-separate fluorspar ores with complex ore properties such as high mud content in raw ores, symbiosis of impurity minerals and fluorspar, and fine particle size of useful minerals.
Process introduction
Process method
The composition of fluorite ore is complex, and the properties of useful minerals and gangue minerals are similar. It is generally processed by a combination of flotation, gravity separation, and magnetic separation.
Separation of fluorite and barite
Generally, fluorite and barite are mixed and flotated, and then separated. During the mixed flotation, oleic acid is used as a collector to obtain a mixed concentrate. The mixed concentrate can be separated by forward flotation or reverse flotation to obtain a fluorite concentrate.
Separation of fluorite and quartz
Fatty acids are used to capture fluorspar, and water glass is used to suppress quartz. The amount of water glass should be controlled appropriately. A small amount will activate fluorite, but it will not inhibit quartz enough. Excessive amount will inhibit fluorite. Sometimes in order to enhance the inhibitory effect of water glass on quartz, certain polyvalent metal ions are added, which inhibit not only quartz but also calcite.
Separation of fluorite and sulfide ore
For fluorspar containing sulfide ores, xanthate collectors are generally used to float the sulfide ores, and then fatty acid collectors are added to float the fluorspar. A small amount of sulfide mineral inhibitors can also be added to the fluorite flotation operation. To suppress residual sulfide minerals to ensure the quality of fluorspar concentrate.
